Experiential Learning in Partnership with Eagle's Flight™, Canada

Experience is a powerful teacher. On the job it can be costly to learn from our mistakes, but in the training room, this valuable learning methodology carries far less risk. That's what makes experiential learning so effective!

Using structured experiences designed to accurately reflect situations in the workplace, participants learn by doing; and then further their understanding by examining ways they could have been more effective. Powerful learning emerges in the debrief when experiences are linked to real-world situations. People see, understand and experience how their own behavior can change to significantly and positively impact their performance back on the job.

Participants receive maximum learning in less time through the use of theming, tactile components, fun and relevant links to their business environment.

Gold of the Desert Kings™

This is a fun, fast paced competitive team exercise. Using a virtual desert journey as the setting, participants work in competing teams of four or five team members. They face circumstances with limited time and resources and must work with their team to achieve as much gold as possible by the end of the experience. The challenges experienced in Gold of the Desert Kings™ are similar to those experienced in a hectic work schedule. Participants contend with deadlines, environmental conditions, decision making, risk management a perceived lack of resources, others' point of view and the pressure to accomplish objectives.

Promises, Promises!™

By simulating the pressures and obstacles of interdependent teams, Promises, Promises!™ powerfully demonstrates the strong relationship between teamwork and results. Delegates, trade, negotiate and interact rapidly to get the right resources to the right people according to their needs and deadlines. Politics, intrigue and fun are added to the mix, which makes this a highly unique and entertaining team experience.

Coral Banks™

Coral Banks™ provides participants with a hands-on lesson in effective teamwork. Participants must operate together as a single organization, as individual teams, and in sub-groups, to complete the construction of an enormous model bridge. They will recognize the power of collaboration, understand the impact of both team process and spirit, and realize the importance of sharing resources and knowledge to accomplish goals and achieve great results.
