Patricia O'Sullivan

Patricia O'Sullivan is the founder and Managing Director of PROTRAINING.

Patricia's previous work experience with international companies has given her a solid background for operating in this culturally diverse environment. A graduate of Shannon College, Ireland, Patricia is also certified to deliver the etiquette and protocol courses of the Protocol School of Washington, and is an Associate of Emergenetics(r) International. She is an approved facilitator of Presentation Skills by the UK Institute of Leadership & Management, as well as being a certified facilitator for Eagle's Flight™ (Canada), Paradigm Learning (U.S.A) and The Sales Activator® (U.K.).

She has worked for leading international corporations both locally and internationally, having previously held the position of Training Manager for Hilton International (worldwide), as well as consulting for a number of years in London.

She is an international trainer and has facilitated in locations such as Brazil, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, United Kingdom, Egypt, Cyprus, Kenya, Sudan, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran.

Mat East

Mat East is Director of PROTRAINING.

Mat has over 27 years experience in Her Majesty's Armed Forces. He gained promotion through the ranks before receiving the Queen's Commission to become a British Army Officer. He was also a key member involved in developing and delivering a training programme for the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for potential future Officers.

Committed to self-development, Mat gained a Level 7 Masters on the National Educational Framework in Leadership and Management, is a Member of the City and Guilds Institute and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. He is also a member of the British Association of Psychometric Assessors for Levels A and B.

His recent projects involved conducting a Leadership Assessment camp for 1,000 Senior Police Officers in Al Ain for the UAE Government. He also led a team on a cultural change management project at the renowned Natural History Museum in the UK.

As Director of a Youth Development Program for His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mat worked very closely with the Abu Dhabi Education Council developing a qualified program for the Youth of the UAE. This program is now included in over 80 schools and reaches out to over 24,000 students.

He is strong in communicating and motivating others in a variety of conditions and situations. His ability to lead cross-functional teams enables clients to meet the many demands of the corporate world.

Ian Murray

Ian Murray is the Senior Commercial Manager with PROTRAINING.

Ian joins us with a background of over 20 years in Management and Training. He has a wealth of experience gained from the Military and the commercial business world. Ian has worked on many programs and projects from idea stage through to completion.

Working within the UAE for the past three years, Ian has developed a sound business sense and an understanding of client and business requirements both here and within the GCC.

Ian is constantly striving to produce better results within himself and others and has achieved the Level 7 (Fellowship) accreditation awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring. He is also a Member of the City and Guilds Institute, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute.

A former Captain working for the Army Cadet Force Association in the UK, he assisted in developing programs and strategies for disadvantaged young people, striving to deliver a service that would enhance their lives whilst giving them a realistic aim to achieve, providing them with hope and opportunity.

Ian is particularly strong in systems and procedures and with an eye for detail that enables him to deliver to the highest standards. With ability to coach and lead people, he has a proven track record in consistently achieving results even under very challenging circumstances.

Lara Shaaban Najjar

Lara S. Najjar is the Senior Training Consultant with PROTRAINING.

Lara has worked for more than 8 years in the Hospitality Industry in the Middle East and Europe in Human Resources & Training and 2 years in Sales & Marketing with Procter & Gamble in the Middle East.

She is a Registered Assessor in Craft Training and is a Master Trainer in Group Training & Accounting for Non Accountants. She is also a certified ISO internal auditor as well as she holds an MBA in Business Administration and a Hospitality Management Certificate from Cornell University/ IMHI France. She has worked on Change Management programmes and the introduction of company values as well as Performance Management programmes for all levels of staff.

She has an extensive background in Assessment Centres having led Recruitment and Development Assessment Centers. She has played a pivotal role in the opening of major hotels in Lebanon such as Le Vendome Intercontinental, Phoenicia Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, and the Holiday Inn Hotels. She also held the position of Regional Training & Development Manager for the Intercontinental Group, based in Paris.

Lara is a highly motivated training consultant capable of delivering sessions in English, French and Arabic.

Sue McIntosh

Sue McIntosh is a Training Consultant with PROTRAINING.

Sue has worked for more than 12 years with the Daily Mail Group in the United Kingdom in Advertising, Design and Sales, this was followed by seven years as an award winning sales manager for US recruitment firm Robert Half International, where she worked with a client base of Blue Chip firms and senior government offices.

Diversifying into the SME market, Sue utilised her communication, CRM, sales/marketing, human resources and development skills to consult with 400+ companies offering advice and guidance on business improvement. Her remit involved reviewing company strategy, customer markets, finance/ICT, processes, people and performance with a view to improving effectiveness and profitability. This initiative was backed by the UK government Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.

She is a Prince2 Practitioner, OCN Mentor, Institute of Leadership and Management and SFEDI accredited Business Adviser and an Accredited Skills Adviser. She has specialised in strategic skills development and advised businesses on the implementation of the international Investors in People Standard (IiP).

Sue has played an integral part in change/crisis management events including the regionalisation and integration of 7 businesses involving relocation, construction, new technologies and employee rationalisation. She separately, devised new operational process and resources for an internal team to meet the Governments' change of focus and required outputs.

Her career has focused on people, communication and excellence; she is passionate about enhanced business performance through developing people.

Ahmad Husseiny

Ahmad Husseiny is a Training Consultant with PROTRAINING.

Ahmed has more than 12 years of experience in sales, customer service, and export & import in both Egypt and UAE markets having held various department head roles in those industries.

He has travelled and conducted business in more than 10 countries within Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ahmad is known for his outstanding ability to create dynamic, eye opening, highly interactive, and fun educational experiences for his clients that constantly exceed their highest expectations.

He holds a Business degree from The University of Alexandria in Egypt and is a master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis and Time Line Therapy, certified by the American and British Board of NLP.

Ahmad also delivers executive coaching and group soft skills training programmes tailored to the requirements of foreign and local companies operating in the region. He has extensive experience in tackling management change issues, business development challenges and difficulties relating to cultural differences.

Jacqui Crutchley

Jacqui Crutchley is a Training Consultant with PROTRAINING.

Jacqui has more than 16 years experience in retail in South Africa and the Middle East. She successfully managed retail training and customer service operations for Al Shaya in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and The United Arab Emirates.

As Training and Development Manager, Jacqui devised and implemented programmes for store managers and potential store managers as well as being involved in the recruitment of the best sales staff at all levels. She was responsible for the set up and management of retail outlets in the Cape and Natal region of South Africa and successfully designed and implemented a companywide standard operating manual for the leading cellular network.

As a consultant since 2001, Jacqui has advised on the training of standardised and tailor-made learning interventions; created team-building events for clients; established effective training techniques; delivered Advanced Presentation Skills Workshops; designed and conducted Assessment Centres and Development Centres; developed and ran mystery shopper programmes.

Jacqui has a passion for her own learning and that of others, is a skilled facilitator and programme designer who has worked with a number of businesses to develop strategic performance solutions.

Nicola Beer

Nicola Beer is a Training Consultant with PROTRAINING.

A graduate of the University of Surrey (U.K.), Nicola began her professional life working for an independent research organisation based in London and Washington D.C. Her responsibilities included writing reports for the European Parliament, the British Labour Party and for Non-Government Organisations, providing oral and written communication training for interns and voluntary workers.

Nicola spent over a decade working for the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London and overseas, regularly taking part in the recruitment of staff as well as being involved in creating in-house training courses.

After having gained a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Trinity College London, she designed and delivered Report Writing programmes for people from the business communities in the UAE. She has a Certificate in Training Practice from the British Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is now an Associate Member.

Nicola aims to motivate students to do their best and extend their own personal limits; she establishes and maintains excellent rapport within the training environment.
