Promises Promises!™

The participants arrive to a room set-up as a ten country United League of Nations complete with flags, passports and national anthems, already they realise this will be no ordinary training programme! Each delegate is assigned a passport and citizenship of a country and in their teams they are challenged to fulfil deadlines and objectives.

By simulating the pressures and obstacles of interdependent teams, Promises, Promises!™ powerfully demonstrates the strong relationship between teamwork and results.

Delegates, trade, negotiate and interact rapidly to get the right resources to the right people according to their needs and deadlines. Politics, intrigue and fun are added to the mix, which makes this a highly unique and entertaining team experience.

In an extensive debriefing, participants come to realise that each country represents the different departments in their organisation and they analyse how the behaviours they encountered helped or hindered them in achieving the overall mission and how this relates to the real work place. The debriefing will be tailored to the objectives you wish to achieve.

Promises, Promises!™ – "Apply It!™" Session

This 2 hour post program session takes the learning points and revelations and forces them down to the day to day level. Participants explore and apply three principles that facilitate the application of the key points. Using a large work mat that participants personalize to their own environment, the Promises, Promises Apply it! session helps them to understand the system in their organization and where they fit within the big picture. They practice analyzing internal relationships and identifying where resources lie and learn to recognize the actions within their environment.

Apply it

By the end of the session, participants understand how to use these principles as a framework for developing action plans for achieving maximum results without politics back at work.

Learning Retention Options: "Work it!™" Field Guide

Work it!™ is a self-study participant field guide containing assessments, case studies, helpful tips and useful exercises to help participants support, apply and reinforce the specific learning points from their training program.

Each field guide is consistent with the theme of the program and features short, engaging chapters to make it user-friendly. The field guide is a natural follow-up for all participants and provides ongoing reinforcement of key program principles for months to follow. It can be solely self-administered or form part of a team retention strategy, supported by the T&D team or line manager through regular discussion and review.
