Our Clients Said...

I would like to thank you being so flexible and adaptable when planning our team building days for the managers and the team members. Being able to ‘adjust to fit' has enabled us to get the most out of the events. With your follow up and support with the manager it has been very beneficial in further developing the team in the workplace.

Team Building Programmes

Consider the many benefits of team building. Focus on the simple reality that many systems and processes and relationships could operate more smoothly or more effectively, but many teams need a platform for reflecting on this away from the everyday workplace. Identification of and communication about improvement and personal change are often difficult and leaders realise that there are always better ways to accomplish things!

PROTRAINING has great tools and experienced facilitators who know how to use them! They initiate dialogue allowing opportunities for discovery. This facilitation approach is fundamental to generating participative involvement and developing teams.

Once we know the main issues and key objectives of our clients, we set about constructing a unique tailored one or two days from the range of activities listed below.

Team Work

We can also design indoor team building events that are less physically demanding and more mentally challenging. For smaller teams of up to 20 members we can offer Belbin reports incorporating 360degree individual profiling and an overall team profile. We can handle teams of up to 500+.

PROTRAINING has partnered with Eagle's Flight™, Canada to offer new experiential learning programmes here in the UAE. Facilitated by our fully certified consultants, these programmes can be incorporated into team building events, conference settings and product launches.

Promises, Promises!™

Promises promises The participants arrive to a room set-up as a ten country United League of Nations complete with flags, passports and national anthems, already they realise this will be no ordinary training programme! Each delegate is assigned a passport and citizenship of a country and in their teams they are challenged to fulfil deadlines and objectives. By simulating the pressures and obstacles of interdependent teams, Promises, Promises!™ powerfully demonstrates the strong relationship between teamwork and results. Delegates, trade, negotiate and interact rapidly to get the right resources to the right people according to their needs and deadlines. Politics, intrigue and fun are added to the mix, which makes this a highly unique and entertaining team experience. Best conducted indoors.

The teams get highly immersed and engaged in their individual tasks.

More Team Building Options ...

Mission To Mars

Mission to Mars An energizing opening or closing to a team building event which focuses on the need for sharing information, achieving success and team spirit. A rocket assembly is powered by secret ingredients. Teams must work together to build the rocket to land on Mars. When launched, it can reach heights of up to 50 ft! Great excitement follows as groups view their successful launches. Outdoors only.

Spider's Web

Spider's Web The entire team needs to get out of a very tight spot without awaking the fierce Tarantula! The groups face a large and especially constructed Spiders Web, which is supposedly blocking their pathway – they must work out how to pass all team members through the web openings without touching any part of the physical structure. A challenging exercise that requires support, team work and planning. Can be conducted indoors/outdoors.

Belbin Team Role Profiling

Belbin Team Role Profiling The Belbin Team Role Profiling assesses how an individual behaves in a team environment. Based on the respected research by Belbin, we look at the 9 roles needed for a balanced team. Each participant will receive his/her own computer generated six page report. This will have been compiled prior to the team building. It describes his/her individual team role as perceived by self and others. The Facilitator will do an input session to explain how the nine roles work in harmony and the combined team profile will also be presented. Can be conducted indoors/outdoors.

Communication is The Key

Communication is The Key Separated into two syndicate groups, the team is required to achieve a joint objective – whilst being physically separated. They can communicate at half hour intervals using typical communication tools - meetings, email and limited phone calls.

This challenging business game brings out key communication lessons whereby in order to succeed, teams will need to apply all their teamwork and communication skills. Indoors only.

Team Song

Team Song Armed with instruments, music and lyrics, the team is required to create a team song which must include certain words (like: team, company name, as-one etc.) This is created, rehearsed and performed with background music and can be tailored to company values. Can be conducted indoors/outdoors.

Decisions, Decisions

Decisions, Decisions Teams represent the senior management team of ‘Extreme Holidays' currently overseeing a trek in Borneo. A series of problems arrive from the tour coordinator. Teams must evaluate the situations and choose how to respond from five options. Spending money on a problem increases customer satisfaction but reduces profits. The chosen option is entered into a single computer and the customer service score and profit balance is calculated and printed along with the next problem. A final report reveals the effects of their decisions on customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Me and My World

Me and My World Team members are challenged to visually represent their ‘world' on one flipchart page within 30 minutes and thereafter to present it back to colleagues.

It is a creative and introspective exercise that is usually an "eye-opener" for colleagues, even those who have worked together for a long time. It ensures that team members receive a fast track insight to both new and existing colleagues. Can be conducted indoors/outdoors.

Cooking up a Storm

Cooking up a Storm The team will be challenged to prepare their own lunch (or dinner) as a team exercise without the help of the hotel staff. Each sub-group will have an important role to play in the ultimate success and must plan, implement and succeed within the time frame. At the end, groups will usually report that this is by far the best lunch/dinner they have ever experienced! Can be conducted indoors/outdoors.
